Originally the cowshed, Guinavere’s Cottage is perfect for a family escape. The cottage is extremely cosy and comfortable and newly renovated with a modern feel, with 2 separate bedrooms, sleeping 4. It's a comfortable base with space for the family to enjoy, and an excellent access to explore The Gower Peninsula.
"This is a beautiful property located in the most idyllic location, beautiful scenery and just the sound of the birds!! The hosts could not do enough for us and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect! We will definitely be returning to this tranquil setting in the future!! 5 star!!." Hannah Elliot, Birmingham
The living area is comfortable and following renovation, more modern in its style. The dining table can sit 4 people and this plenty of space to relax and enjoy an evening in front of the TV.
The master bedroom has a comfortable solid wood, double bed. The second bedroom has bunk beds and also provides access out onto the patio area.
The kitchen is open plan, very practical and fully equipped with everything needed for a week of self-catering. The bathroom is spacious and retains some of the original cottage feel.
The decking area outside of the cottage has table and chairs and is the ideal location for dinner. It is tucked away but still has fabulous views of the fields, the woodland and the estuary. There is easy access to the larger barbecue and dining area, the utility room and a hot tub.
"We found the property to be perfect for our needs & fully equipped with everything we needed. The living area was spacious & comfortable & the kitchen had all necessary utensils. The room had direct access to its own private patio and the views are great (weather complied when we visited). Lynsey and Adam were excellent hosts, looking after us from start to finish, and providing useful tips on outdoor activities and places to eat out. Would highly recommend." Matt Semple, London
"Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous! We were first in the newly renovated cottage and delighted. A perfect base for a family of 4. Really well set up and the best bit is the access to the gardens and the safety factor with young kids". Meri and Matt Smith, Winchester
"This is an incredible place to stay. The peace and quiet of the location is outstanding! The hosts Adam and Lynsey were amazingly friendly and helpful, and so full of local knowledge, where best to visit etc! Nothing was too much trouble for them. The hot tub was luxurious after a full day out! We were welcomed with a lovely bottle of wine, and the beds were extremely comfortable. I would have no hesitation returning there again , and hope to do so next year." Suzanne Trent, Manchester
